Kolleen is due with her first baby boy in May, but we decided that we needed to photograph her growing body twice because who could pass up taking pictures in this amazing white lace dress we rented?? I mean these pictures speak for themselves, and we had so much fun taking them. We got out there at 6am before the sun & before the crowds of hikers and rock-climbers. It was such a beautiful overcast morning, and the photos did not disappoint!

I loved getting to capture these photos for her. Her long white dress had such a beautiful train and was so #boho and perfect for our desert shoot out in the desert. And when you think of desert spots outside of #lasvegas there are soo many, but #valleyoffire is one of my favorite that comes to mind! This spot is popular for many Las Vegas elopement photos, intimate weddings, and even gorgeous engagement photos. There are so many different looks that this spot provides, from glowing red rocks, stripped cliffs, and gorgeous desert flora.
We captured this session on both film and digital photography, and Bryen made such an amazing video from this session! It seriously has to be one of my favorite films we have created because we were able to really tell a whole story and show the beauty of pregnancy.
We recently just bought one of these dresses to be able to provide for all our maternity shoots, so that if a mama-to-be wants to wear a dress like this, it is available for them so they can have the maternity shoot of their dreams!
And if you want to check out the amazing little short film we made of her, make sure to give it a watch if you want to see some amazing drone footage!
I mean just look at this first picture of her up on the cliff! The way the dress flows over the side and the lace sleeves fall off her arms... I just love this look! The sunrise was beautiful, full of pastels and just the cherry on top of the beautiful morning that added to make these photos even better!
It took us so many tries to get this shot! I just kept saying another, another, another, making her throw the train back over and over again, but it was so worth it when we finally got the perfect shot! We didn't have any wind on this morning, so it was necessary to do some throwing of the dress on our own to really add depth and movement into the photograph.
XOXO,
HAYWAY
